Power Mania: The Recent PML (N) -MQM Wedlock & Political Values

Are there any political values in Pakistan? Apparently the clear answer is NO. The recent visit of PML (N) leaders to Nine Zero (MQM’s Headquarter in Karachi) to gain the voting support for their presidential candidate Mamnoon Hussian has sparked a new debate.

Pakistani TV channels have witnessed the shameful statements of Ch Nisar Ali Khan about Mutahida’s Leader Altaf Hussian and in response Waseem Akhtar’s inglorious contentions about Sharif brothers and their family. Almost every segment of society has strictly condemned the verbal vulgarity aimed at each other.  With either side exchanging heated arguments the political rivalry was at its fullest. Historically, MQM blamed almost at every eve to PML (N) to launch the military operation against their workers and supporters during the Nawaz Sharif’s prime minister ship in 1992. Nawaz Sharif and his party leaders have several times blamed to MQM as a terrorist party and political mafia in Pakistani politics.  All these statements are on record and especially the Pakistani social media activists are posting these frequently on Facebook & Twitter. Both parties have shared almost equal malice regarding each other, which obviously reflects itself the political temperament and maturity in our political culture.
On ground reality is very interesting. PPP, ANP & PML (Q) have already boycotted the presidential contest. Admittedly they had no other option to mask their shame. With an obvious defeat awaiting, they have drummed out their anguish loudly on TV screens including senator Aitizaz Ahsan’s threats to the higher judiciary. JUI (F) is as always the camellia party in Pakistan to hold the decision till last moment to jump on the power train.  Jamat-e-Islami’s political confusion has raised to utmost stage since the Munwar Hassan took the charge as Ameer. Possibly they have lost the temperament and focus to make timely, mature and sensible decisions. PTI is still in the race with their charged candidate Justice ® Wajihudin. Though the party chairman Imran Khan wanted to follow the PPP’s tradition through boycott of the election, however, he agreed with his party’ leaders, who insisted him to take part in the process. PTI uproar on PML (N) and MQM’s reunion is utterly unjustified as their leadership stance about MQM and Altaf Bhai is full of twists and turns.

PML (N) was neck-to-neck on victory stand but some invisible fears forced them to bow down to the MQM’s shrine during the holy moments of Ramadan. MQM has enjoyed the nonstop two decades of power, but unfortunately they have never been able to waive off the criminal tags on their party. After the May-2013 general elections; this is the first time when MQM is out of government power. Unexpectedly a legal process is also in progress against their leadership in London for the charges of money laundering and the assassination of Dr Imran Farooq. After the 5 years wedlock of MQM- PPP in precedent government- both are staring each other for their vested interest in the Sindh Province. This is naturally a golden opportunity for MQM to prove their innocence being an opposition party and through the judicial process.
Apparently, MQM had no choice to deal with however, the recent visit of ruling party leadership  at Nine Zero enabled the MQM to maintain their bargaining chips in so-called national interest.  Unfortunately, Pakistan is a place on the planet to do the power politics rather to serve the nation and the state. In one or the other way round, everyone wants a long power ride without following the track rules. The moral values are secondary subject for politicians. The barren political land of  Pakistan is full of opportunist and never had a genuine leader like Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Virtually, the prevailed political culture in Pakistan is to disagree with each other regardless the importance and immediacy of issues. In the contemporary political style; it is highly probable that if someone names literally an ‘angel’ for a government’s position, then it comes down to others creating a fuss with baseless debates and allegations. Of course there is need of political maturity, decency and wisdom. Without altering the existing attitude, the political parties can never  contribute to the state’s progress and prosperity. The nation has no concern on such timely coupling of political parties if this is prideful, genuine and in the favor of national interest.

PML (N) government is in the honeymoon period and have already taken several wrong steps. They have no margin for errors as the nation has already suffered a lot rather expecting from them overwhelmingly to deliver with their performance. Nawaz Sharif and party need to refix their axis on right directions as they vowed in their pre-election speeches.

Ignominy: No doctor to treat but police to fill in the blanks.

Peshawar: A  maimed victim of Budh Ber attack on 30th June 2013

The picture is enough to represent the reality about pity mindset in Pakistani culture. Rather the doctor or paramedical staff come first to help this seriously wounded youngster, a police man is busy in his paperwork to record the incident of blast.

The notable thing is 'anxiety' in the eyes of old lady in picture and blood on his veil. But who cares?

How long this deadly wave will continue?
Who is going to stop?
Who will tell them so-called Holly Warriors that they are actually the incarnation of Satan?

No one to answer , no one to step forward and no one to take the responsibility.

Congratulation Mr. Nawaz Sharif- The real trial started now

Finally, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has become the 3rd time Prime Minister of Pakistan after a prolonged, nervy and tiring passage of life. Of course last 14 years of his life are full of motley assortments. But the important question is, what he learnt from his past?

Once the English statesman Winston Churchill said that “All men make mistakes, but only wise men learn from their mistakes”. Surely Nawaz Sharif made serious mistakes during his previous tenures of Prime Ministership, But this is the time to look forward rather peeping in the past to discuss his misdeeds repeatedly. And this is the hope of the Pakistani nation that he has ascertained from his wrongdoings.
If this position (being the Prime Minister) was his dream, then it came true, if this was his mission then its completed. The Pakistani nation has given him the ‘vote of trust’ to lead the country. Of course he suffered since the Oct 1999 military takeover but the nation has endured more than anyone one else. With his personal grievances; Mr. Nawaz Sharif should count the torment of public.
The political parties either in opposition or alliance have their political agenda. While this is the time to put the country and masses on top priority in forming the future agenda of government. The Zaradari’s show of give and take should over now for once and all in the Pakistani politics. The conventional style of ‘favoritism’ to reward the dear and nears should be cast-off.
The famous French poet/ novelist Victor Marie Hugo stated that “The wise man does not grow old, but ripens”. The Pakistani nation demands your political maturity. You have already showed a glimpse of mellowness by giving the chance to PTI in KPK and Dr Abdul Malik Baloch (National Party) to form the government in their respective provinces. This maturity should continue in every decision during your lordship. The nation demands immediate and practical results rather the typical vows every leader made in the past.
Terrorism, energy crisis, lawlessness, unemployment, drowning economy etc, are the serious issues and require a devotion to overcome in the future years. The precedent governments have not only shown the lack of interest to address the masses concerns but also looted the available resources to build their self-empires. ‘We are in a transition phase’, we are learning the secrets of democracy or we have suffered from dictatorships; all are old phrases. Though this is all true but these words cannot heal up the bruises of over half a century. The time is demanding a realistic approach.
Undoubtedly Imran’s factor in Pakistani politics has shaken the traditional style of rule. Now this ‘vote of trust’ to Nawaz Sharif is not to command on the nation, but to serve and in case of failure he should realize that ‘history repeats itself’.

Elections-2013 in Pakistan: Who can win the power race for ‘CHANGE’ ?

The political pundits and media gurus have already indicated that ‘no party can get the visible majority in the forthcoming election’ in Pakistan. The pre-election situation endorses this claim that all the provinces have mandate of different political parties. ANP in KPK and with few seats in Karachi, MQM as usual ruling in Karachi, PML (N) has squeezed from the national party to Punjab centric party, PPP contains the actual power from Sindh, not vital  but still have some roots in other provinces. Before the election 2008; Jamat-e-Islami  held the heavy share in politics under the umbrella of MMA mainly in KPK and Baluchistan with few of the seats in Karachi and Punjab. However, their current political might is in a blur. PML (Q) has enjoyed the peak time under the command of their soul founder General Musharraf and now the party is in destruction as it was constructed.  JUI (F) has dedicated mandate in KPK and Baluchistan and famous for its ‘tricky & timely’ politics. The newly emerged factor is PTI on the Pakistani political horizon with a claim of ‘change’ through the youths’ support.
Vote for 'CHANGE'
Out of 342 national assembly seats, only 272 are open for election to win the contest while the rest of 70 are reserved for women and religious minorities. 172 is the target number to form the government with a clear majority or in coalition with other political parties. The election-2008 resulted the split mandate with a slight majority of PPP however, the inabilities of opposition parties and the ingenious politics of Mr. Zardari have played vital role in the completion of 5 years PPP government in Pakistan. The repetition  of split mandate is being anticipated in election-2013. If the story repeats in election results then the obvious advantage goes to parties like MQM, ANP, PML (Q) , JUI (F) and Jamat-e-Islmai.  Let the PPP, PML (N) and PTI aside for a while then these parties (above named) have the vital role in government’s formation.
MQM, JUI (F) and now PML (Q) have the only agenda of  ‘rule & power’. These parties can adjust with anyone on their terms of ‘power gain’. Other than the coalition partner in  MMA; Jamat-e-Islami has maintained the character so far and ANP knows its fences to play its possible role in KPK and Karachi only. However, ANP also does have the ‘power’ mania.
‘Change’  is the slogan of election 2013 in Pakistan. Though all the political parties are spinning around the ‘change’ shibboleth but PTI has promised to ‘change’ the Pakistan in case of triumph in the election. Putting aside the vow and claims of political parties; the on-ground situation is very interesting cum alarming.
If the PPP maintains the similar mandate then everyone knows the magic powers of Mr. Zardari to weave the political  parties in his style. In case of the PPP’s return; Pakistan’s economy and institutions are not healthy enough after the last five years ‘special treatment’ to digest the dosage again. PPP likes the ‘in-door’ change which suits them and neither they claimed publicly to change the Pakistan like other political parties. Then simply, no chance for ‘Change’ but sure chances of further devastations.
If PML (N) gets the majority to form a coalition government then what are the options to join the hands? Apparently MQM in  Sindh, JUI (F) or Jamat-e-Islami in Baluchistan and KPK. ANP is their least option but PML (N) can shake hands with them to pick the power crown. PML (N) has already publicized their promises of better economy, health & education, infrastructure, life standards, peace and security. This party doesn’t consist of ‘angels’ but their last power term has witnessed a slight improvement in development sectors. And obviously a powerful media is there to recall them their pre-election claims. However, in case of coalition government with the usual options, PML (N) can only replicate the PPP’s governing style.
PTI is  another option for future government. Unfortunately, PTI is dreaming a new ‘Pakistan’  with the veteran politicians migrated from other political parties. Why these politicians left their power hubs to join the PTI? is yet to answer. Are they changed their political ideologies and decided to serve the nation rather rule on the nation? no one is ready to answer this too.
If PTI gets the clear majority then obviously its premature to comment on their performance. Imran khan’s vision is fabricated in golden words for a prosperous future and definitely every Pakistani wish a country as he states in political speeches.  But  in case of split mandate which is highly expected; PTI has two possible options. First to sit on opposition benches and play  a positive role within their constitutional boundaries. Second PTI can form the coalition government. If PTI and Jamat-e-Islami can grasp the required number of seats to form the government then the situation is ideal for both the parties to work on their proposed agendas. Again this is quite rare. If PTI joins any other party  for coalition government then ‘CHANGE’ is at stake. Because these supporting parties never stand for the system but for their interests. In such a setting, Imran’s metaphors of change are nothing less than daydreaming.
The real change is only possible through active participation in the election and to vote for the right person for a secure and bright future.

Mr. Musharraf: Nothing Left in Pak to Ruin Again.

Ex-Army Chief and President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf returned to Pakistan on 24th March 2013 after a four and half years' self-exile. Though during this period , the sitting President-Mr. Asif Zardari , doesn't let to feel anyone his absence from the country and carried his devastation plans succinctly. But he returned to ‘home’ with afresh mind and power’s dream.

You will surely miss the golden days in Pakistan which you never deserve

‘I am back to save the country’ he stated on his arrival at Jinnah International Airport  in Karachi. Despite the serious threats from  Talibans and BLA (Balouch Liberation Army) for LAL Masjid’s attack (in Islamabad) and Nawab Akbar Buggti’s assassination (in Dera Buggti); he decided to actively participate in Pakistani politics.
This is the beauty of democracy which gives the political rights without discrete to everyone. When the General Musharraf was enjoying an absolute power, he introduced the dirty politics in Pakistan. He suspended the political rights of Benazir Bhutto (late) and Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and didn’t allow them to come back in Pakistan. This is the best moment for him to understand that what is the difference between ‘democracy and dictatorship’. Though the Pakistani politicians withered the soul of democracy. They took revenge from the nation through ‘democracy’. The recently ended tenure of democratic government in Pakistan wasn’t less than Musharraf’s dictatorial regime.
Pakistani courts have summoned to Pervez Musharraf in different cases and ordered to retain his all properties in government’s custody. The authorities were in contact with Interpol to arrest him from abroad. As he is now already in Pakistan surprisingly with all of security provisions; this is really a test case of the Pakistani judicial system. This is the an exam of Pakistani politicians too who were roaring in his absence.
International establishment with key players such as US, UK and Saudi Arabia is fully backing  to  Pervez Musharraf as politically he played  the ‘perfect puppet role’ already and his post-modern ideology suits to the western world. Pakistani establishment is his house-maid but he has to calm down public anger first.
His recent vow to ‘Save the Pakistan’ is a cheap political stunt while he actually needs to clear him from the courts. APML (All Pakistan Muslim League) is his registered party to contest in the forthcoming election in the country. Again this is the trial of ECP (Election Commission of Pakistan) that's how they allow a fugitive from justice to contest in the election.

Dear Politicians: You proved you are dull?

First time in the history of Pakistan, politicians got a chance to prove they have some maturity and guts. They can deal with some issues above the priorities and self-vested interests. But unfortunately by failing in the nomination of interim Prime Minister; they proved them banal fool.
The ‘top’ brains of political parties of government and opposition couldn't find a single reputable person from the nation for caretaker government. What was the wrong making it feasible? Obviously; ‘will’. They were not sitting together to prove their maturity,  to set an example, to give an impression of sincerity; they were mapping their future.
General elections are scheduled by the Election Commission of Pakistan in May, 2013. This is  a golden opportunity for voters to elect the decent and honest representatives. Again a big question to answer first! How many are our political leaders fulfill the criteria of decency and honesty? Perhaps, counted few and possibly they are the passive players in their party. Despite having all these facts, the voters need to show their political vigilance as this time failure means pushing Pakistan back to ‘Palaeolithic’ epoch.
Apparently, all the political parties vow to build a new Pakistan with their political wisdom, sincerity and unique future plans. But their pre-election performance turned all these vows as fictitious. PPP, PML (N), (Q) , PTI, MQM, ANP, JUI (F),Jamaat-e-Islmai; are the front row players in Pakistani politics. If some read their written political agendas, then Pakistan virtually should be the world’s top nation with all ‘perfect’ approaches. Unfortunately the fact is so virulent. Their verbal claims never endorse their pragmatic approach.
Historically, we have so many curses to credit in dictators’ account, but at the same time ‘what are the attainments to credit in politicians’ account?  In one way or other both have squeezed the nation’ blood to keep them alive, healthy and wealthy.
This is undoubtedly a failure in the smooth transition of democracy in Pakistan and simply it all happening due to cheeky political approach. Now its public show time, to prove their voting might for the RIGHT ones in this dire need for a better tomorrow.

Political Talk Show In Pakistan: An Amalgam of Disarray or Adopted Reality

It's over a decade now; when private TV channels in Pakistan have started the political talk shows in Pakistan. Initially Geo TV, ARY were the two famous channels to promulgate the political debates on TV screens. They started to invite the politicians from different political parties and ex- employees of different departments or experts to debate on certain topics. With the passage of time this trend established as reality and almost every channels hired some journalist cum anchors and some anchor cum actors to shove the political vigilance in the nation’s brain.
This is another truth that if these talk shows would have shared constructive debates and practical road maps  on issues in the country than Pakistan might be world’s best political aware country with the ultimate solution from media crowdsources. But the reality is against this claim. A political bizarre culture has been introduced. The failed, faked and guilty politician became the beauty of the TV screen on prime time slots to teach the success, moral and commitment lessons to the audiences.
Not all but majority of the programs are already tagged with their political affiliations and work objectively to defame the opponents. Few of senior journalist such as Syed Talat Hussain, Kamran Khan, Hamid Mir , Javed Choudhary, Salim Safi, Iftikhar Ahmed and Nusrat Javed have a great share for years to present the some interesting, critical, and thought provoking programs on several issues. However, they are also mostly missed the ‘conclusion’ of their debates.  Compared to non-professionals, lippier or planted ‘anchors’; they served well as several of their programs are the part of Supreme Court proceedings as evidence or fact sharer.
Again the question is ‘What is the key share of these programs’ in the amelioration of the state? Perhaps, the answer is either difficult or possibly negative.
The channels start consecutively the political talk shows from seven to midnight. The anchors try to post-mortem of the on-going issues and participants ‘just’ reply as per their priorities, policy lines or to score politically. The end result of majority of shows is just ‘melodrama’ to entertain the nation in prime time. Even some of the shows literally  have started to entertain the nation with comedians. I personally do not blame the planners of such show for example Hasb-e-Hal, Khabarnak, Hum Sab Umeed Sy Hein & Darling are the vital examples of the wide range of many others shows in this genre. The producers, content managers are wise people and selling the right product to the right audience. They knew that Pakistani nation like the ‘drama’,  take the politics as ‘ comedy’  and live the life as ‘joke’ so, potentially it’s a futile effort in brainstorming to educate the public logically.
Apparently, drama slots on TV channels are replaced with ‘dramas’ through a different type of characterization. The politicians proved them more talented actors than the professional actors in fictional series. They have all the guts to entertain the nation except serve the masses.
The only positive attribute of these shows is the depiction of ‘real’ face and character of politicians and other participants. For example Sheikh Rashid was considered as wise politician, his  excessive appearance in talk shows turned him a risible character. Similarly, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Kashmala Tariq, Faisal Raza Abidi, Baber Awan, Hanif Abbasi, Mushahidullah, Waseem Akhtar, Haider Rizvi, Shahi Syed, Qayyum Jatoi, Marvi Memon, Shazia Mari, Sharmila Farooqi and many others have portrayed their genuine attitude on TV screens. These shows also helped to fix the political affiliation of so-called scholars and think tanks in Pakistan.
Despite all the related curses these shows are the contemporary reality of TV screens in Pakistan and play a central cum influential role in opinion formation. Not all but a few of the shows have great influence in political agenda setting. The hosts of these shows need to realize their key role in the society. It's their responsibility to share the fair facts as much as they can before the general election 2013. Presumably, the media will play a central role in the forthcoming election to mould the voters’ perception in Pakistan. Capital Talk, Aaj Kamran Khan Kay Sath, Kal Tak, Bolta Pakistan, Live With Talat, Jirga and Jawabdeh  should the platforms to answer the voters’ sceptical in democracy in Pakistan.

The Holy Warrior in Satan’s Disguise

Are you lover of Prophet (AS) or Serving the Religion? Definitely NO.
And you think you are a Muslim? The true lover of the Prophet of Islam- but your action is utterly against the teachings of Islam.
The incident of Badami Bagh in Lahore has let down the Muslims themselves to answer the questions about this sleazy action. An amass of fools resulted the lasting loss of Islam’s image around the glob. Islam is the religion of peace and the Prophet of Islam has proved this fact with his deeds through out  his life. He emphasized in his preaching that every single follower of Islam should act upon on his teachings as true Muslim in true spirit to represent the Islam as best religion. Physical or material obliteration of the non-Muslim is something very big; the Islamic teaching even stops a Muslim to harm verbally to them.
The hundreds of the religiously obsessed grimmer have burned off the Christian’s houses in the Joseph colony, Lahore. But actually they burnt the religious harmony, the dreams of the inhabitants, the religious zeal towards the peace and prosperity, the Islamic vow to provide the shelter to innocents. Who gave them right to punish the entire community for an unproven guilt of  an individual? They put the heads down of every sensible Muslim and Pakistani, they weakened the claim that the  drone attack on innocents are unjustified.
Apparently, Muslims and Pakistani were setting the fire on Christian’s homes and celebrating infront of camera eyes but infact they were not less than the devils on earth. Perhaps they were dreaming of 'heaven' in reward of their ‘ignorance’ but they even do not know this act will definitely lead them hellhole.
The blasphemy law in Pakistan is becoming grievous. The few nescient controlling the emotions of million of illiterate blind followers which may drive to even worse damage in coming days. The two central loopholes are exposed by the Badami Bagh incident first, the people are not fully aware about the blasphemy law in Pakistan and government has not made any effort at any stage to educate the people. Secondly, in most cases few odds using this law as a weapon for their personal motives and interests.
The Prophet of Islam is the ‘Symbol of Peace’ and never taught the violence in his preaching while ‘humanity’ was his central lesson in dealing with human beings. No one is serving the religion with such a dense approach.
When the government can spend bulky budgets to publicize their so-called public welfare projects through media outlets, they should spend some dosh to educate the people about this important matter. This conflict should stop now; already the Islam and Pakistan’s image are at stake due to such baseless violent onslaughts.

Karachi massacre: Who can cease the fire?

Perhaps, Karachi- the economical hub of Pakistan is under some jinxing effects. The jinx of selfishness, lawlessness, corruption , terrorism and surprisingly all these curses are human created. The inhabitants of the city are the most doomed creation on the earth. Despite the several possible reasons; the incompetent and venal politicians are the root cause of the catastrophe in the city of about twenty million populace.
Previously known as the ‘City of Lights’ is under the dark shadows of target killing, force money, looting, street crime and newly emerged scourges of sectarian and terrorism.  The deadly attack in Abbas Town (Karachi) yesterday has left 50 dead including women and kids and about 145 injured.
Is this not more than enough? Who will tackle this ? When it will become over once and for all? Apparently, these are unanswered questions and possibly no one has the guts to answer these. If the innocents’ blood is the guarantee of  peace then this city has sacrificed more than due but there is no symptom of melioration.
The power lords of the Karachi are enjoying the blessings of the ‘democracy’ with a new interpretation  as this government  is ‘of them, by them and  for them’ only.  The Pak Army has also its unjustified presence in the city as over a decade ‘Ranger Forces’ are fully failed to control the crime cum terrorism in the Karachi. The public has no role and right at all. Even the masses have no right to question on the non - provision of their basic right of peaceful living hood.
PPP, MQM and ANP  are ruling in the city. First time MQM is sharing power with the other two parties while this is the first time too when Karachi has paid the high price of this trio romance. Apparently this an obsolete argument that political parties have failed to show their due constructive role for peace and prosperity in the city. After a decade when the situation is even worse than before;  this discussion is simply a futile effort.  The police, rangers and other intelligence agencies are no more than puppets in the hands of their bosses. As when the innocent people were attacked in the Abbas Town and dead bodies of women and kids were on the road, the victim families were tossing  for help, the law enforcement forces were performing their duties on the engagement party of CM’s Advisor Sharmila Farooqi.
The political parties are traditionally engaged in blame game as they did before after every  afflictive incident. The Army is crystallizing his image as the General Kiyani expressed his consent few days before in an off-the-record meeting with Pakistani media gurus. The supreme court potentially can order to the ruling government for maintenance of law and order which is again a useless practice considering the attitude of current egotistic and clumsy government.
The ball is in public court to hit right for their future through voting power in the forthcoming election. They can take it as an opportunity to elect the capable representatives. For an immediate and  durable solution of disease; the public needs to show their political vigilance. Ideally this is a dream and biggest reality is that dreams come true on earth.

Kidding the Nation: Good Job MQM

Apparently feels as Pakistani politicians consider that they are dealing with a numb nation. The 21st century has witnessed the several revolutions in different nations such as Africa, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon and other Pan-Arabic states. When the other nations are channelizing towards the political, social, and economical progressions; Pakistan is fighting the survival war. This unfortunate situation is undoubtedly due to non-serious and insincere politicians not the all but majority. This is a useless practice to post-mortem the contemporary government's performance in Pakistan. However, this is an open secret and anybody can judge the role of so-called democratic coalition government without any brainstorming.
The tons of excuses and blame on others is in the pockets of every political party in Pakistan but the most dramatic and cunning part is playing the MQM in recent years. The on-off status in government and especially in the Sindh province is more than any melodrama. The hundred millions question is either the "MQM is firmly believed that the Pakistani nation is really imbecile"? To some extent Pakistani nation has proved this claim with their passive role in the democratic process and the awry use of their voting power. Obviously international, establishment, corruption and other influences matter in Pakistani elections however, the most concerned dilemma persist when the voters not realizing their might.
MQM is mainly holding the power in Karachi city. With few national and provincial assembly seats and foregin national boss they are the part of every government since 90s. Their only quality is media handling and outspoken representatives has saved their face so far. Practically no other party in Pakistan has the political puppets like MQM. The recent drama of declaring their status as 'opposition party'; just a few weeks before the natural death of the government is scripted comically. They enjoyed the power about  five years in the PPP romance and left them alone just before the sunset is indigestible feat
The most miserable character in MQM is Governor Isharat-ul- Ibad. He has to get his passport and ticket ready 24/7 for any time call from branded boss to resign and report in London. Luckily for him and unluckily for the Pakistani nation his Dubai transit always saves his chair. He is the longest serving Governor in the history of Pakistan and hardly one can find his contribution in the development of the province except his most obedient cum robotic style of Governorship for MQM.
Already the nation was amused for the MQM's decision to get out the government fabrics; another drollery news make them laugh that Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad is reporting back in the office on the call of their 'democratic' leader Altaf Bhai. Perhaps this is the unique style of 'democracy' across the globe where one-man show rules.
The MQM should seriously re-address their timely interest based politics to prove them a democratic and nationwide party in Pakistan rather snuggling into their typical political stunts.

Opinion: Another Suo Moto- but Who cares?

CJ Pakistan Ch Iftikhar took the suo moto on deadly attack in Quetta in Hazara community market. The  action potentially cannot heal-up the damages however, the judiciary's active role is the least hope of ordinary people in the country. The Quetta tragedy is not something to push under the carpet like many other vital issues in the Pakistan. The nonstop chain of terrorist attacks in the Quetta city and across the Baluchistan is a question mark on the FC presence in the province.  The forces are responsible to uphold the peace in the country  however, FC is already alleged for fermentation through their suspicious role in the missing persons case. Over a decade Pakistan has been passing through the worst phase of terrorism and this is the more than enough periods for a sensible government to counter the terror scourge. The world's 7th nuclear power has no guts to fight against the terrorist elements in the country. World's 15th largest Army is helpless to curb the terrorism in the country and potentially fighting for its own eudaemonia
The democratic forces are engaged to fix their future before the general election in the year 2013. The victim families are on roads with dead bodies of their beloved ones in the hope of justice. About a month before the same style of protest has ended the provincial government in the Baluchistan when CM Raesani was enjoying the stay in a luxury hotel in London. The Governor rule has imposed in the province to establish the peace whereas, on ground situation is just opposite the idea.
The SC has already issued serious verdicts on Baluchistan situation and here another suo moto is just like a ray of hope for the people of Baluchistan. Apparently the government's track record against the SC decisions is very bad as judiciary can only order not execute their orders, ultimately its government job. Whereas, the government has not shown the character and seriousness at any stage to follow the judiciary lines for durable peace and justice in the country.

MQM: again in Mood

Just about a month before dissolving of assemblies MQM made another strange cum comic decision. Dr. Farooq Sattar in a press conference said that "they have completed the vow to support the PPP government for 5 years for stability of democracy in the country and now they are not ready to support their friendly policies for criminals in Karachi city".
This was not the first time when MQM leadership has decided to join the opposition benches however, every time they took the decision back for timely incentives and political advantages. They used this power intelligently to turn the government decisions in their favor. The noticeable aspect is their governorship in the Sindh province as they never step back or give up the incumbent. MQM is first time sharing the power with PPP and ANP in the Karachi and this is the ever worst era of Karachi unrest.
Target killing, hefty amounts and extortion have immersed the city's beauty and inhabitants' rest. No political party including MQM is ready to accept the guilty except blaming the others or unidentified Taliban factor in the Karachi. Being the major stakeholder in the city MQM is more dubitable for unwanted circumstances. Historically they have seriously been charged in crime in the city however, their political might never let them prove guilty. The so called democratic romance has been exposed in the recent years when they twist their stance situationally.
The most recent dramatic move to sit in opposition just a month before the natural life of current government has raised several questions. Probably the MQM spokespersons have much more to share with masses as they are very outspoken and represent their stance in loud tones. However, public has serious concerns on their doubtful political role. Altaf Bhai and the party needs to clear their position before the general election as opposition leader Ch Nisar Ali Khan has already alleged them for another drama with PPP government.

ANP all parties conference (APC) and Taliban's Reaction

The ruling party in KPK has celebrated the valentine day in Islamabad with another twenty four political parties to give the road map for a dialogue process with the Taliban. The APC concluded to seek the constitutional route for dialogue with Taliban forces for a durable peace in the country.
The Taliban has shown their reaction on the APC with the recent attacks in Bannu and Peshawar. Ehsan-Ullah Ehsan; the Taliban spokesperson informed to  media that they have serious concerns on APC and they are not ready to proceed in any dialogue until the Pak-Army is not on board.
Despite the Taliban's reservation on this conference there are many other questions to answer first. What is the meaning of this effort from ANP in the dying days of their government in KPK? Is this APC only a political stunt or in the reaction of recent attacks on their political leaders?
Who will guarantee the dialogues or any proposed agreement with the Taliban, what role the army will play? No one has yet to answer these questions. Apparently there is nothing for common people who are the actually facing the curse of terrorism in the country, losing their lives and assets.
The immaturity and nonserious attitude of political lords in the Pakistan has led the country at failure edge. The forthcoming election in an opportunity for the public to vote for the right one to represent them in the parliament and fight for their basic rights rather to make themselves billionaires as the ruling forces have passed the last five years.

Will SA clean-sweep in Test Series?

Nothing hard to answer as 'YES'. The cricket pundits are not hoping for a win-chance for Pakistan in the recent 3-Test series between South Africa and Pakistan. The second test result made the further prediction very easy. Misbah eleven is struggling in batting against the world number one test team. Despite the Ajmal magics in the test; poor batting line made no difference in result.

Quetta Sit-In: Another Challage for so-called People's Party

The deadly blast in Quetta has left hundreds dead and more than wounded; is another challenge for the ruling party in the country. When the victims families are mourning on the road with dead bodies for justice the President Zardari is enjoying the added asset of the bomb-proof Bilawal house in Lahore.
Pakistan is about to step in an election season in the coming months. The political parties are testing their muscles to prove their might. The power race is on its full pace and all stakeholders are engaged in their policy lines. At the same time an un-directional, un-controlled and the most dangerous element of 'terrorism' is sweeping across the country especially in Baluchistan.

Potentially, FC (Frontier Constabulary) is the real 'boss' of the province however, the terrorist have much more to show. A non-stop sequence of attacks have jolted the inhabitants of this province. Undoubtedly , the recently dismissed civial government of the province has a poor record to maintain the law and order situation in the province but the Governer Rule and Army hold is also not healing the disease.
The political parties are failed to play their substantial role, the security forces seem helpless 'Who is going to save the ordinary people' in Baluchistan is a millionaire worth question. Apparently there is no answer rather no one is ready to answer. However, the victim families are indicating to knock on the UN door for their safety.
